hmm.. I dunno what happened. Guess it was brain freeze? Winter is almost here. Or I'm just getting old. Btw, your holidays are not on our calendars, so I had to ask. Fyi, Canada's Thanksgiving is always on the second Monday of October (but we usually gorge a day before on Sunday because it's more "convenient"). Anyways, I believe the tradition, sentiments, rationel, and foods are the same, except for different harvest dates. Alot of early Canadians (18th C) were former Americans (refugees from the revolutionary war and other) who brought alot of American traditions up here. Happy turkey day! Goble goble!

LOL probably you right brain freeze because Canada damn cold true but too old nah anyway ahhhh monday second week on thanksgiving you just mention say up there say you said " Btw this year. in Canada i think it was Sunday Oct 12. Last month. Typically it's colder with a shorter growing season here, hence earlier harvest/Thanksgiving. " so now you mention that 2 weeks on monday so curious does up in Canada had the same food cooking like USA ??

Yes. Pretty much the same. Turkey or Ham, or whatever, with vegs etc. It's big. The early Canafians were former Americans (those who remained loyal to the British monarchy during the revolution) but bought their traditions and customs north. So it's pretty much the same.
