The website doesn't say about Canada or another countries. It listed for the United States so I guess yours is okay.

Just found out: In Canada, the change date to DTV is August 31, 2011. http://www.ic.gc.ca/epic/site/oca-bc.nsf/en/h_ca02319e.html
In the U.S., it is Feb 17, 2009.
However, if any Canadian lives near the border, it would be prudent to be ready by Feb, 2009.

Interesting. Thanks for the info.

Looks like it is cable TV.
All cable tv nationwide should be OK. It only affected to older model with rabbit ear antenna unless they buy decorder to their old TV.
Doesnt affect to all cable TV and new TV models.

umm.... I don't think this change to digital over-the-air broadcasts from analog over-the-air broadcasts has anything to with "terrorists stealing PPV". Btw, I don't honestly believe that the terrorist give a crap about PPV, or everyone's utility bills for that matter. This is mostly about freeing up bandwidth spectrum so that new other wireless stuff has space to work too (like more cellphones, garage door openers, etcetc). Right now they are all sorta interfering and clugging each other for room. Once this is done, the FCC will sell the rights to the extra bandwidth for billions of dollars.
