I am Canadian, so know very little about him

Lucky you. He had a TV show a few years back, before the hearing loss began. He has a radio program, where he blasts most anything not extremely conservative. I have closed shop on trying to give him a fair shake, and ignore him now. Nothing quite like arrogance, extreme political leaning, and a huge ego to turn me off. Add to it he has a national radio program, and that seals the deal. Plus using radio as his main forum to reach his people, and it makes it easy to just say "NO"

I don't think he really tried to pursue anything.....he just never learned how to shut his big pig mouth.

Unfortunatly the worlds idiots want mouthpieces like him.

Well said. Like the opposite of Abby Hoffman (remember him?) in his views, but just as extreme and pigheaded.

Im from New Zealand. What do you call porridge over there?

I havent had any vertigo episodes for a couple of weeks now, which is good.

I do get a woozy head sometimes if i am very tired and have done too much, and then did some reading or whatever.  Today at work, i was vey tired, and expected to start feeling woozy but it didnt happen so thats good. But i guess with my hearing so bad now, even with an aid i can get tired easier at work when having to listen ontop of the mental and physical aspect of my job. Im a cook at a large resthome btw.

I will see how i can learn to cope with my energy levels, but i might have to change my hours, which will mean less pay.

Does everyone else find they are more tired at the end of the day or during it?

Losing hearing is stressful! You are required to reteach your coworkers and others you come in contact with to alter the way they communicate with you. Plus, at least in my case, there was a feeling of shame and embarrassment with all this happening.

It sure sounds like Meniere's disease to me. The description of "episodes" is exactly what Meniere's is about. I can be symptom free for months, but it is always back there, lurking. I certainly would discuss all of these things with your Doctor. Maybe consider a "health diary" to keep track of the vertigo and so forth; give it a rating each day. Good luck to you.

Porridge known as Oatmeal in USA/Canada.

It is good you haven't had any vertigo episodes for a couple of weeks, hopefully it will stays this way for now.
