Subject: COLORADO SUNSHINE STRAWBERRIES
Content: Colorado Sunshine Strawberries. 2 sticks butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 cup flour 1 pkg. [6 oz.]Cream Cheese softened 2 cups Powdered sugar 1 cup chopped pecan 1 cup boiling water 1 pkg [ 3oz] strawberry Gelatin 2 pkgs frozen Strawberries 1 cup whip topping or more if you want. Mix one stick of butter with sugar and flour until smooth. Spread mixture in greased 9 x 13 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool. Mix remaining stick of butter with cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread on top of first mixture. Sp rinkle with pecan and set inside. In a bowl. combine boiling water with gelatin and frozen strawberries. When strawberries are defrosted and gelatin has dissolved, mix and pour over mixture in baking dish. Refrigerate in least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Add topping . Serve 6 or 10.
