Content: Woman misdiagnosed with brain cancer A woman has been awarded $280,000 by the Quebec Superior Court after doctors misdiagnosed her with a fatal form of cancer. Ginette Cloutier-Cabana was told in 1995 that she had cancerous tissues in her brain by THREE DOCTORS. Doctors at Maisonneuve-Rosemont said she had between three and six months to live and prescribed chemotherapy to ease her pain. But Justice Marie-France Courville found doctors at the hospital didn't bother to double-check their diagnosis. After three months of chemotherapy, a brain scan revealed the cancerous tissues were actually a series of brain aneurysms. Courville assigned the blame to three doctors at the hospital who will each have to pay a share of the damages. *How you feel about it?
